Trans Stripe

The Transgender Pride Flag was created by American trans woman Monica Helms in 1999 and was first shown at a pride parade in Phoenix, AZ in 2000. She said, "The stripes at the top and bottom are light blue, the traditional color for baby boys. The stripes next to them are pink, the traditional color for baby girls. The stripe in the middle is white, for those who are transitioning or consider themselves having a neutral or undefined gender."

We crafted our version with White yarn in the center, an Aqua outer border, and a Bubblegum inner border. Item #6091.
